Inspired by Stefan Barcsay and with the desire for correspondence within my composition list, in 2012 I developed the Fünf neue Verse as a sequel piece to the "Fünf Verse" (look the commentary!), which were composed in 2002. Similar to the "Fünf Verse" they are demanding lesson literature also appropriate for the concert hall, and they refer to the collective brash and allusive Children’s Verses, collected by Ernest Borneman in the seventies. As with the "Fünf Verse" emerges interplay between the read and known, the subconsciously influential text and the hearable music — and from amidst comes an indescribable third element: mutely-musicalised wording, poetically-charged sound.
