When an excellent composer like Alois Bröder, who not only studied composition (a.o. with Manfred Trojahn) but also guitar (a.o. with Olaf Van Gonnissen), turns to youth literature for this instrument, it is a stroke of luck. Sentieri is a moderately difficult guitar trio in which students can shine not only in rhythmic interplay, but also in terms of musical forming of melodies. Definitely suitable for “Jugend Musiziert”, but also interesting for the concert repertoire! A scordature, extensive playing of harmonics and the moderate modernism of Sentieri, which does not shy away from clusters, offer a good introduction to the world of contemporary music.
